Off late social media is flooded with number of posts of silk products viz: sarees, dupattas, lehengas etc with a silk mark tag over it. Tag on every product may not be genuine and there are possibilities of placing the silk mark tags on different types of fabrics.

When a silk product is bought , one must insist on silk mark tag and check the following details on it. . This is very important as there might be look alike tags available in the market
Silk mark tag has four distinct features
- Hologram
- Unique serial number
- Silk Mark logo
- QR Code (details of authorised user)
On identifying the silk mark tag , one can scan the QR code with a scanner or a mobile phone and would receive a link . Upon clicking the link, the details of the authorised user would be shown.. Please see the image below.
